When Lilly got to the hospital this afternoon she looked quite pale, almost ghostly white. But she still had her sparkly smile! :) Here is a before and after picture.

Look at those rosey cheeks!! It's amazing the change in her complexion! And it makes her feel better too. She was definitely in need of transfusions tonight and we are so grateful for people who generously donate platelets and blood - they truly are life savers! We finally made it home from the hospital just before midnight. Lilly was so HAPPY that we didn't have to be admitted. (Me too!)
It does help her so much. Glad to see the color in her face, but she always continues to smile even when she doesn't feel the greatest. What a long, long day for you guys. Love you Lilly pants.
ReplyDeleteLilly, thank you for always being so brave. I'm grateful also that the doctors have something they can give you to make those darling rosy cheeks of yours pop right out. I hope you remember to keep saying a prayer in your mind when you have to do something where you have to be brave. Boy your monkey is going to have some good news to tell the kids at school about how you got your rosy cheeks back lol. Love you brave lilly. Sending hugs and giggles
