Lilly has been delayed to start her 4th round of high-dose chemo. We were supposed to be admitted again on Monday the 21st. I think her body is tired of getting all that high-dose chemo. Her ANC (Absolute Nutrofil Count) has dropped all the way down to 100. It needs to be 750 before she can be admitted. We've been trying to keep her pretty isolated since she can get sick so easily, but sometimes that is so hard!! But, her spirits are high most of the time and we try and still do fun things even though we can't do everything we wanted to do this summer...
The week before, we had family in town and Lilly's numbers were up a tiny bit, so we took advantage of it and had fun outside.
WATER-FIGHT! Who doesn't love a little water-fight on a hot hot day? Also, Lilly enjoyed loving on her new baby cousin Quaid who was in town visiting from Texas. Later that week she asked me when she was going to get a baby brother!! ;)
We got out Lilly's awesome pool to play in. The kiddos said it was too cold, but had fun anyway.
Silver Lake was so much fun! We need to take more advantage of the fact that we live so close to the mountains. It is so beautiful and we all want to go back up there really soon!
Lilly gets another blood test today to see if she can be admitted tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath though. I don't see how she can go from 100 to 750 in 4 days. But, we'll see...
Praying for my sweet Lilly so she can move forward in her treatment. Had so much fun with y'all last week. Awesome memories to hold dear!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun being together and playing badminton, water fights and visiting the family. The cousins sure did enjoy being together and making memories. Going to the mountains was so nice having a picnic but especially getting out of the heat. Love seeing all of the beautiful things you see in the mountains. Love you so much Lilly.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a neat place. Where is silver lake? As hard as it is be patient!!!! There is a reason for everything and when they happen. Just enjoy precious lillys laughes! Love the swimming pool and the soaking of Jay. What a groovy dad the girls have lol. My son in law Stewart is fun like jay. They are both awesome dads
